Nov 16th - 2:00pm - Mathews Worship Service

Today, Sunday, Nov 16th, at 2:00 pm., all are welcome to join us as we share the Light of Christ with our friends at the Mathews Long Care Facility, who are unable to leave the facility to attend church.

Nov 18th - The Laughing Ladies (Day Group)

We now have two women’s groups: The Laughing Ladies in Christ (Day Group) and (Evening Group). Many ladies work and cannot come during the day, while some prefer to go out in the evening. They are united in their efforts

The Day Group will meet at Vicki Ambrose's home on Tuesday, November 18th, at 10:00 a.m.

Nov 20th - 7:00pm - Admin. Council Mtg.

The Administrative Council will meet on Thursday, November 20th, at 7:00 pm. Please remember that all professing members of Locust Grove GMC are also members of the church council, with a voice and a vote. We would love to have your participation.

Nov 26th - 7:00pm - Thanksgiving Eve Service!!

We will have a Praise & Pie Thanksgiving Eve Service on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at 7:00 pm. Following the service, we will gather to share desserts and a time of fellowship. Please bring a dessert to share if you are able. This year, we have invited Salem Church of Mathews to worship with us. They are the newest Global Methodist Church in our area.

Dec 9th - 7:00pm - Annual Charge Conference

Our 2025 Annual Charge Conference will be held on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at 7:00 PM here at Locust Grove. We will have a joint Charge Conference with Salem Church in Mathews. Again, this year, I would like to have a video presentation to show some of the events we have held. If you have pictures or videos of events, please share them with Pam Howlett or Josh Griffin so they can be included.
