May 15th - 6:30pm - Administrative Council
The Administrative Council will meet on Thursday, May 15th, at 6:30 pm in the fellowship hall. Please know we consider ourselves a church family, so your input is important to the ministry and business aspects of the church. Every professing member is a member of the Church Council with a voice and a vote.
May 20th - 7:00pm - SPPRC Meeting
The SPPRC will meet on Tuesday, May 20th at 7:00 pm. Members include LaDonna Fry (Chair), Samantha Howlett, Jenny Wiseman, Frank Yarina, Scotty Busic, Pam Howlett, and Dicky Clements.
May 23rd - 5:30pm - Soft Crab and BBQ Dinner
Our annual Soft Crab or BBQ Dinner will be on Friday, May 23. Take-out orders may be picked up from 4:30 to 5:30 P.M. Eat-in will be from 5:30 to 7:30 P.M. This is our biggest fundraiser of the year, and the proceeds are used to support mission outreach. As you can imagine, pulling off an event such as this requires a great deal of effort. Your help is greatly needed! We will gather to set up at 5:00 P.M. on Thursday, 22 May, in the pavilion. There is a signup sheet in the Narthex; there are plenty of opportunities if you can help. If you have questions, please speak to Laurence, Vicki, or Christy.
