Our Administrative Council meeting will be this Thursday, October 30th, 2025, at 7:00 PM.
Nov 2nd - Fall Festival/Chili Cook-off!
Next Sunday, November 2nd, we will have our Fall Festival & Chili Cook–Off directly after the worship service. Please see the flyers in the Narthex for more details.
Nov 2nd - 2:00pm - Mathews Worship Service
Our next worship service at the Mathews Extended Care facility will be Sunday, November 2, 2025, at 2:00 pm. All are welcome to join us as we share the Gospel message with the residents.
Nov 8th - 7:00am - Men's Breakfast
Men’s Breakfast will be Saturday, November 8th, at 7:00 am. Everyone is welcome, and please bring a friend to share a meal and a time of Christian Fellowship
Nov 4th - 7:00pm - Worship Committee Mtg.
There will be a Worship Committee meeting on Tuesday, 4 November at 7:00 pm. Members include Barbara Callis, Chris Pritchett, Christy Moughon, Jenny Hall, Jenny Wiseman, Pam Howlett, Virginia Anne Shipley, and Susan Fleet. If you are not listed but would like to help plan worship for the Thanksgiving, Advent, and Christmas Seasons, you are welcome to attend, we would love to have your input.
Dec 9th - 7:00pm - Annual Charge Conference
Our 2025 Annual Charge Conference will be held on Tuesday, December 9, 2027, at 7:00 PM here at Locust Grove. We will do a joint Charge Conference with Salem Church in Mathews. Again this year I would like to have a video presentation to show some of the events we have held. If you have pictures or videos of events, please see Pam Howlett or Josh Griffin so they can be included.
