May 9th - 7:00am - Men's Breakfast
The Men’s Breakfast will be on Saturday, May 9th, at 7:00 AM. All men are invited and bring a friend with you.
May 12th - 10:00am - Laughing Ladies - Morning Group
The Laughing Ladies in Christ (LLIC) morning group will meet on Tuesday, May 12th, at 10:00 AM in the social Hall. All ladies of the church are welcome to attend.
May 14th - 6:30pm -Administrative Council Mtg.
The Locust Grove Church Administrative Council will meet on Thursday, May 14th,at 6:30 p.m. (Note the correct time is 6:30). We are meeting a week earlier due to preparation for the crab dinner.
May 17th - After Service - Soup and Baked Potato Bar
Following the worship service on May 17, the youth will provide lunch (Soup and Baked Potato Bar). The guest speaker will be from FCCLA, a mission-oriented group that they support. A basket will be available for donations.
May 17th - 2:00pm - Mathews Worship Service
On Sunday, May 17th, 2026 – We will worship at the Mathews Convalescent Center at 2:00 PM, 603 Main St, Mathews, VA 23109. You are invited to join us.
May 19th - 6:30pm - Laughing Ladies - Evening Group
The evening group will meet on Tuesday, May 19, at 6:30 PM in the Fellowship Hall. All ladies of the church are welcome to attend.
May 22nd - Annual Soft Crab & BBQ Dinner
Locust Grove’s annual Soft Crab or BBQ dinner will be on Friday, May 22nd, 2026, in the pavilion. Take-out will be from 4:30 - 5:30 PM. Eat-In will be from 5:30 – 7:30 PM. Tickets are $20.00 each. The prophet will go to the Love Offering this year. Facilitating this event requires a great deal of effort, so your help is greatly needed. There is a sign-up sheet in the Narthex.

Please keep in mind that we collect non-perishable food each week to take to Hands Across Mathews and to help support the Good News Pantry boxes around the community.
Children's Ministry - Employment Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Children’s Ministry Coordinator to lead and develop the Children’s program. Responsibilities include organizing and leading Sunday services for ages 3-13 and planning and executing monthly activities and larger quarterly events.
