Sep 6th - Mathews Convalescent Worship
Our next worship service at the Mathews Convalescent Center will be on Sunday, September 6th, at 2:00 PM. Everyone is welcome to attend.
Sep 8th - 12:30-6:00pm - Blood Drive
There will be a blood drive on Tuesday, September 8, 2026 at the Piankatank Ruritan Club from 12:30 pm to 6:00 pm. To schedule an appointment, please go to redcrossblood.org or call 804-725-2485. Walk-ins are always welcome.
Sep 8th - 10:00am - Laughing Ladies in Christ
The Laughing Ladies In Christ morning group will meet on September 8, 2026 at !0:00 am in the church basement. All the ladies of the church are welcome to attend.
Sep 12th - 7:00am Men's Breakfast
The monthly Men's Breakfast is held on the second Saturday of each month at 7:00 am in the pavilion. The next meeting will be Saturday, September 12, 2006. All the men of the church are encouraged to attend.
Sep 13th - 7:00pm - Musical at LGC!!!
There will be a musical performance at Locust Grove on Sunday, September 13, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. The performers include Jenny Hall, Timmy Howlett, and Dicky Clements. Refreshments will be provided after the program. A love offering will be collected for the Shriners Children's Hospital.
Sep 15th - 6:30pm - Laughing Ladies in Christ
The Laughing Ladies In Christ evening group will meet each month on the third Tuesday at 6:30pm in the church basement. All the ladies of the church are encouraged to attend.
Sep 17th - 6:30pm - Administrative Council Mtg.
Our next Administrative Council meeting will be on Thursday, September 15, 2026, at 6:30 pm. All attending members are invited!!
Oct 3rd - Craft/Thrift Event
Betty Rhodes is working on organizing a Craft/Thrift Event to be held at Locust Grove on Saturday, October 3, 2026. Anyone interested in helping/participating, please contact her at 804-815-1488.
Oct 17th - 4:00pm - Fall Festival at LGC!!
Fall Festival at locust Grove is coming soon! There will be live music, food and games & Activities. Don't forget to bring dry goods and can goods to help support our local families in need
